Marvel Rivals, the 6v6 team-based shooter developed by NetEase Games, has quickly established itself as a rising star in the competitive gaming scene. Season 0, titled “Dooms’ Rise,” marked the game’s inaugural championship series, running from December 8, 2024, to January 5, 2025. This month-long event introduced players to a roster of 33 heroes and featured intense competitions across various regions.
For Kanga Esports, Season 0 was an exciting opportunity to step into a brand-new competitive title. Competing in the Asia bracket, we faced off against some of the toughest teams in the region, including like Aus Tourny and BbiYak. The matches were nothing short of intense, with every game demanding precise teamwork and quick decision-making. After weeks of effort and focus, Kanga Esports proudly secured a spot in the Top 8.
This achievement means so much to us, not just because we made it into the Top 8, but because it shows the progress we’ve made as a team in this fast-growing esports scene. Marvel Rivals is in its early days, but it’s already shaping up to be a game where skill, strategy, and teamwork truly shine. Representing our region and competing against some of the best teams out there is something we’re incredibly proud of.
This result is a foundation to build on. We’re already looking forward to the next chapter in Marvel Rivals, and we’re committed to refining our strategies and continuing to grow as a team.
