Jdizzle Brings Home the Win at Nintendo Live 2024

Nintendo Live 2024, held at the International Convention Centre Sydney, was an exciting celebration of all things Nintendo. This annual event brought fans of all ages together to enjoy Nintendo Switch gameplay, live stage performances, and even the chance to meet iconic Nintendo characters. One of the main highlights of the event was the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (SSBU) tournament, which drew top players from across the region to compete on the big stage.

Among the fierce competition, Jonathan “Jdizzle” Douglas from Kanga Esports came out on top, taking the championship in an impressive fashion. As one of the standout players in the ANZ Smash scene, Jdizzle has consistently delivered strong performances, and this win further solidifies his reputation as a player to watch.

For us at Kanga Esports, this is another step forward in building our presence in the SSBU scene. While we’re proud of this result, it’s also a reminder of the hard work and talent across the entire ANZ community that continues to push the level of competition higher.

Congratulations to Jdizzle for his dedication and focus throughout the tournament—it’s great to see his efforts rewarded on such a big stage. And of course, a big thank-you to everyone who supports us and the wider Smash community.
